All tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation or postponement.

If an event is cancelled, refunds will be issued automatically. If an event is postponed, you will be notified of the new date/time and offered a refund if the new arrangements don’t suit. Refunds cover the basic ticket cost only; booking fees are non-refundable.

Mixed-bill line-ups are subject to change, that’s life, these things happen. If your favourite act is removed from the line-up, this does not constitute a cancellation and tickets will not be refunded on this basis.

Ticket holders assume all risk of injury and responsibility for any loss, destruction or theft of personal property and release the promoter, performers, sponsors, ticket outlets, venue and their employees from any liability thereafter.

Late-comers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance, and admission cannot always be guaranteed. Management reserves the right to refuse admission.

Anyone who continues to disrupt a performance after fair warning will be removed from the venue without refund.

No videography is permitted during performances. Put your phone away and live in the moment, gang.

Galway Comedy Festival is not responsible for any inconvenience or loss arising from an order that has not been successfully completed.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their order has been successfully placed and to keep their tickets and/or confirmation number safe. Galway Comedy Festival is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

Please take care when selecting your tickets and check all details before completing your purchase, including the event, date, time, ticket quantity, ticket type, seating and delivery method.

Galway Comedy Festival cannot accept responsibility for errors made by the customer and, in such cases, tickets cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged or amended.

Galway Comedy Festival cannot be held responsible for unwanted tickets purchased as a result of multiple orders, whether placed deliberately or unintentionally.

When ordering, click the final confirmation button once and then be patient while your order is processed. Do not double-click or repeatedly click the confirmation button, or refresh the page.

Theatres: No under 16s. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian aged 18+.

Bars: No under 18s admitted after 8pm.

Please be aware that show content is not censored, including daytime performances, and is intended for a grown-up audience unless specified otherwise. Parental guidance is advised.

Events may occasionally be cancelled by the promoter, artist or venue.

If this happens, we will endeavour to contact you as early as possible using the email address supplied at the time of booking. Refunds will be issued automatically.

Events may occasionally be rescheduled by the promoter, artist or venue.

If this happens, we will endeavour to contact you as early as possible using the email address supplied at the time of booking. Once the new date and/or venue is confirmed, you can either attend the rescheduled event or request a refund.

Galway Comedy Festival will communicate a cut-off date by email for refund requests. Requests received after this date will not be entertained. Your original tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event, or you can contact us to arrange for someone else to use them.

Galway Comedy Festival is not responsible for any inconvenience, loss or expenses incurred by customers as a result of an event being cancelled, rescheduled or moved to a different venue.

Customers are responsible for any costs incurred in connection with attending an event, including transport, accommodation, subsistence and other related expenses.

Shows can, and do, occasionally change, so please bear this in mind when making travel or accommodation arrangements. If appropriate, we recommend taking out insurance to cover any such costs.

Galway Comedy Festival cannot refund, cancel, amend or exchange tickets because transport or accommodation arrangements subsequently become prohibitively expensive.

Galway Comedy Festival is not responsible for replacing tickets that have been lost or stolen. Tickets are the property of the customer and their safekeeping is their responsibility.

Please note that you can always retrieve your purchased tickets from our website. Simply log in to “My Account” and select “My Tickets” to download, view or add to your Google/Apple Wallet.

Comedy is subjective, and not every joke is going to be for everyone.

The views, opinions and material expressed by individual comedians do not necessarily reflect the views of Galway Comedy Festival, its promoters, partners, sponsors or venues. Comedians are free to explore ideas, opinions and perspectives through their work, and live comedy may, at times, challenge, provoke, upset or delight audiences.

By purchasing a ticket, customers acknowledge that they are attending a live comedy performance and accept that some material may be unexpected, controversial or offensive to some audience members. Galway Comedy Festival is not responsible for offence taken as a result of material performed by an artist, provided that the performance is in accordance with applicable law.

In short: you might love it, you might hate it, that’s comedy! Choose your shows accordingly.
