Phill Jupitus
A terrific friend of Galway Comedy Festival, and one of the most regular guests across the event’s near 20 year history, October in Galway just wouldn't be the same without Phill Jupitus.
Phill has largely stepped back from stand-up, channelling his talents into the visual arts instead and completing his degree in fine art at Dundee University.
Galway though, is always a place he will make time to visit and do comedy. “Galway is a place I feel at home,” he said. “There’s a sense of ‘Last stop before New York’. It feels like the edge of the world. It gives this feeling that Galway people live on the edge.”
