Páraic Breathnach hails from Connemara and is steeped in the tradition of the seanchaí and the cut and thrust of 'magadh' as Gaeilge. He has worked as an actor, designer, writer, and is currently appearing as Sonny Dirane of Ros na Rón on TG4. He has also acted in many films and is best known for his comedic turn as Jacksie in the oft-repeated 'Killnaskully'. Breathnach has performed several of his shows at GCF through the years, most notably 'Straight Outta Connemara' which went on to tour nationally and in the UK.
